At the core of what we want is to live an extraordinary life. We want to see what’s possible. We want to reach our goals, have more fun, and feel more joyful moments.

To do that, I see three areas in our lives that we need to focus on upgrading to get what we want.

The first area to upgrade is education.

Think about it this way, if you want to grow your life, if you want to grow your relationships, if you want to grow your money, if you want to grow your business, you have to grow your mind.

When it comes to education there are so many ways to educate your mind.Β Β This may mean learning new tools and strategies for how you do something.

It may mean learning new ways of thinking, and new ways of being.

The more you open your mind to new possibilities, the more you’re open to change, and being willing to change your perspective.

Are there areas where you can grow your mind?

Ask yourself the following questions:

What am I curious about? I always tell my clients to follow their curiosity because it’s there for a reason.

What am I being challenged with now? Seek a mentor who has had the challenge and learned how to overcome it.

Here’s the thing: Your education is something nobody can ever take away from you. I believe it’s an investment that has the highest return.

The second area to upgrade is the environment.

In personal development, we talk mostly about the inner world and your mindset.Β  Because your inner world is a direct reflection of your outer world.

Β But, I’m here to say your outer environment affects your thoughts.

As you upgrade one, you’re going to upgrade the other.Β  They both complement one another.

The environment consists of a lot of different things.Β  The order of your home, the clothing you wear, the state of your affairs, the people you spend time with, the foods you eat, your media consumption, the music you listen to, and the books you read.

All of these items are impacting how you think and feel.

One point I want to bring up is if you were in a terrible and challenging situation, and you have the skills to manage your mind, and you choose to think thoughts from your future self then you can manage your environment.

But what I tell my clients, is if you have an opportunity to bloom and thrive then choose your ideal environment on purpose.Β Β 

Why would you put yourself in environments where you constantly have to manage your mind and it’s challenging to grow?

I want you to think about your environment and how it impacts you.Β Β 

It will impact what you think about yourself and how you feel.Β Β 

Ask yourself, in what areas of my environment do I want to focus on upgrading?

And this is the people you hang out with, the clothing you wear, the condition of your home.Β  You all know what it feels like whenΒ your home is a mess.Β  You look around and think unpleasant thoughts that create a state of being overwhelmed and anxious.

And the last area to upgrade is your energy.

Everything is energy. Our bodies are all made up of energy.Β Β 

And energy can be physical or emotional. Β 

The energy of our bodies vibrates at different states of being called emotions.Β Β 

Emotions range from joy, contentment, gratitude, frustration, anger, resentment, and sadness.Β Β 

We as human beings can feel one another’s energy.Β 

And there’s physical energy. Β The energy varies from lethargy, and exhaustion to vitality and aliveness.Β  Energy gives you the ability to walk, run, jump, and play and positive emotions in your body.

Like energy attracts like energy.Β  For example, when you’re showing up in a higher vibrational state, to attract things you couldn’t attract at a low vibrational state.

Anything you can do to upgrade your emotional and physical body is going to have a positive impact on your life.

I want you to look into your own life about how you can upgrade your energy.

I coach my students with mindset work.Β  Because how you think is how you’re going to feel and how you feel determines what you do.

Ask yourself, β€œHow can I cultivate my physical energy?”  Take a 10-minute walk, move your body, dance, or take breaks from sitting.Β  Maybe it’s getting more sleep, and drinking more water.

And ask, β€œHow can I cultivate my emotional energy?”  Maybe, it’s beginning your day by choosing to be intentional with your thoughts, maybe it’s a morning gratitude practice, journaling, reading, and watching inspiring material.

If you upgrade your education, your environment, and your energy, there’s no limit to the amazing things that you will do, see, and become.

It’s a lot easier to be intentional with your environmental choices.
